Biography
The SKA ROCK band LA BRIGADE DU KIF was founded in 2015 by the singer/guitarist Mika Riff, who is also the group's songwriter.
Their music is a vibrant burst of colorful energy truly suited for the stage, with ska, rock, swing, and punk sounds that will make your feet dance and bring sunshine to your ears! After conquering festivals and concert venues in 2022, the band is returning to the stage in February 2023 with new tracks that they are eager to share with you.
LA BRIGADE DU KIF has performed at Musicalarue, Festival de Carcassonne, Garorock, la Voix du Rock, Festival des Cagouilles, Festival Esta Poulit, Desertival, Saute-mouton, as well as the férias of Dax and Béziers. The band has also taken their music abroad, having played in Spain, Hungary, the Netherlands (including the magnificent festivals Lowland and Passpop), and a 12-concert tour is scheduled in Germany in March 2023.
You may have also seen them on the same stage as Tryo, Marcel et son Orchestre, Java, Les Hurlements d'Léo, Les Sheriff, Massilia Sound System, la Ruda, Soviet Suprem, Les Fatals Picards, Les Fils de Teuhpu, or their friend Gambeat... They released a magnificent collector's vinyl record, a red 45 Tour accompanied by a CD, all packaged in a lovely illustrated double sleeve, along with music videos for tracks such as "Reusta," "A la folie des branleurs," and the radio edit version of "On leur fera les poche," which you can find on their website and Facebook page.
With their 2023 tour off to a great start, the year is already shaping up to be scorching!
